Larissa is a lawyer, mediator, and investigator. Larissa has been a workplace investigator since 2017 and was called to the bar in 2022.
Larissa’s legal work focuses on employment law, human rights, and policy. She is passionate about helping to create safer workplaces. Larissa has over a decade of experience in gender-based violence work and advocacy.
Larissa has specialized experience including her degree in Gender Studies and certificate in Sexual and Gender Diversity from Queen’s University. Larissa also completed the Advanced Mediation Skills courses at the Mediation Centre of Southeastern Ontario.
She has published in the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Institute of Canada and has contributed to projects designed to improve access to legal information for employers and employees.
Larissa offers trauma-informed investigation and mediation services, as well as training to organizations on their legal obligations to protect employees from harassment and discrimination at work.
Larissa is an animal lover and you’re likely to find her pets making an appearance during virtual meetings. She loves hiking, gardening, and spending time in the local community.
